The Valhalla Sailing Project helps veterans reconnect with purpose, trust, teamwork, and community through the sport of sailing.

For many veterans, civilian life can feel disconnected from the structure and team environment they once knew. On a sailboat, that changes. Every crew member has a role. Every maneuver requires communication. Every person matters.

Your support helps veterans get on the water, build confidence, learn new skills, race as part of a real crew, and experience the sense of mission that comes from being counted on again.

Sponsor a Veteran

One of the best ways to support VSP is to sponsor a veteran for the sailing season.

Our primary season runs from April through October. A recurring monthly gift during those months helps us plan ahead and put veterans on the water consistently.

If your donation platform allows recurring gifts, this seasonal model is one of the most practical ways to support the program.

What Donations Pay For

A veteran sailing program does not run on good intentions alone. It requires equipment, preparation, and consistent support.

Why It Matters

Sailing is active, demanding, and team-based. Veterans do not come to VSP to sit on the sidelines. They come to learn, contribute, compete, and grow.
